The sandwiches were delicious here! This a cute spot to sit and eat. Service was great. There's ice cream, macarones, sodas, chips. Plenty to choose from.

It doesn't fully deserve 5 stars, but it has potential. Take this review as a wake up call to get your systems right because if you don't, you'll continue to make these mistakes and eventually get worse ratings. My wife and I were in Alameda and I felt like eating a fresh sandwich. There plenty of options, some have great reviews and have been around much longer. But everything looked good on yelp. We placed an order for two sandwiches over the phone. One was the Avo Turkey sandwich and the other was Hanks. The avo came modified with eliminating several items, the Hank sandwich was ordered as is with avocado. Food was prepped quickly, less time than anticipated (under 10 min). It was packaged well, the ambiance was clean and tidy and inviting. Staff were friendly, clearly a family owned business which I love. The sandwiches were packaged perfectly and beautifully. Just one fail. They got both orders wrong. I said no tomato on mine and it was packed so tightly that it made it difficult to take out the tomato. Basically ruined the presentation just to get I you. The other sandwich, with all the modifications, was missing cheese - cheese!! These two minor, simple, but important errors are a sign that more attention to detail needs to be made. Mistakes will happen, but how do you manage it? 5 stars because the food looked and tastes very good. The pickle slaw was awesome. The thick turkey slices are also premium. Work on the details and you'll be in business a long time.

Nice and delicious sandwiches! I ordered a pastrami and swiss on a french roll and wow it was loaded with meat soft, tasty and not overly salty. Lettuce and tomatoes fred as can be too! I'll definitely be back!

I ordered delivery through DoorDash and one of the sandwiches arrived with the wrong type of bread. Rye and Dutch crunch are very different... A bit of a bummer, but the sandwiches were all still very tasty. It is a place I would have again, but order in store to know we get the correct bread.

Sandwiches are in my top ten favorite foods, so I was excited to try this place after reading so many stellar Yelp reviews. The menu has a great selection of sandwiches, many of them locally themed, which I really liked. There's a good variety of meats and bread options. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the space itself is spacious and comfortable. It feels like the perfect spot to meet someone for lunch, enjoy some food, and chat for a while. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the tables are clean and comfortable. I can definitely see myself coming back for a relaxed lunch. I ordered The Angela, a variation of a turkey sandwich. It was good, but it didn't blow me away. The turkey was hand-carved, which was a nice touch, but overall, it was a pretty regular sandwich on a basic roll. One of the highlights here is the Straus soft-serve ice cream. If you've had it before, you know it's a special treat. Overall, this is a solid sandwich shop with a great atmosphere, friendly service, and some nice menu options. I'd come back to try another sandwich and definitely the soft-serve.

***** Food ***** Service ***** Ambiance Rose makes the best sandwiches ... high quality, great tasting & jam-packed with delicious ingredients. Was fun trying to take a big bite from my so so tall sandwich. My "Alameda" sandwich was made perfectly. I loved how the cranberry complimented the turkey & bacon combo. The sandwich shop had a charming ambiance. Rose & Coco are so welcoming, they made us feel at home.

Rose's Sandwich Shop is approaching it's 1-year anniversary, and it's top quality sandwiches and great service has not changed. What has changed are things like: -more seating -bigger chip display -offers soft serve -serves coffee I was just there last Friday, and ordered "The Alameda" sandwich. Great sandwich, loaded with fresh turkey. Rose told me they roast 1-2 turkeys a day on-site. It doesn't get any fresher than that!

Rose's Sandwich Shop opened in Aria Market's vacated space. Outside and inside seating available. Sandwich specialist with many options/varietals. Many chips too Offerings: Sandwiches, salads, drinks, soft serve ice cream. Quick service. Got cone after paying while i was shooting a video. Licks: half & half soft serve Strauss organic ice cream (3.75) -chocolate & vanilla intermixed. Seldom see strauss as a base for ice cream. Couldn't pass it up. -creamy, velvety, silky like, sublte sweetness. Chocolate flecks in chocolate next to vanilla notes. *tastes vastly superior to generic soft serves..

I love sandwiches. They're loaded and make me satisfied. I went with the Alameda sandwich which I enjoy having unique items on the menu like this. I took it with a Dutch crunch roll. Vibe is very calm and clean. Looks very local and family owned. You have the basics for a sandwich, crisps and a drink. Plenty of seating. The sandwich was nice and flavourful. The cranberry sauce gives it a sweet yet not overpowering kick to it. Bread was soft and fresh yet a soft crunch. Food is done in front of you and service was prompt. I'd come back.
